Who We Are
Enniscorthy Quakers welcome persons from all over county Wexford and further afield. We are a preparative meeting of Wexford Monthly Meeting of The Religious Society of Friends.
The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) are in Wexford since 1657 and Enniscorthy Meeting House, which was built in 1756, is the oldest building in Enniscorthy still used for its original purposes.
The names ‘Quaker’ and ‘Friend’ are interchangeable.
Ballitore Quaker Meeting in county Kildare is also a part of Wexford Monthly Meeting.
